Artisan glasses are made by hand in our workshop in Kuopio according to measurements. In artisan glasses, we have 8 different shades and 25 standard patterns, which you can use as is or they can be modified, e.g. in a different shape to suit your project. All artisan glasses can be tempered into safety glass.

Artisan glasses are used in versatile ways in interior design for various decorative glass solutions, from glass doors and glass walls to furniture as well as for different glazing in the bathroom. The glass thicknesses vary from 4 mm / 6 mm / 8 mm / 10 mm / 12 mm depending on the glass type, pattern and color.

Artisan glasses have eight different shades from which to choose the one that suits you; clear, optiwhite, Azur (turquoise), green, blue, bronze, gray and dark gray. With artisan glasses, you can create vision protection thanks to the patterned surface without obstructing the flow of light from one space to another. In artisan glasses, we always talk about the patterned, rougher side and the smoother, shiny side. This means that the side that was against the bottom of the kiln is more vivid and the pattern is more raised, while the other side is smoother (never completely smooth) and shinier. Find out more about artisan glasses on our website.

Recycled glasses are also handcrafted artisan glasses, with the difference that recycled glass cannot be hardened into safety glass. The most popular shades for recycled glasses are optiwhite, gray and bronze, recycled glasses can also be made from other tinted glasses aswell. Find out more about recycled glasses on our website.
